Relatively little historical research on parliamentary speaking and decision-making exists. The members of the Board of Directors were welcomed by dr. Paul Seaward, the director of the History of Parliament. During the conference the board discussed plans for the coming years and welcomed a new member -   Comité d'histoire parlementaire et politique (France), represented by mr. Jean Garrigues.
