The EuParl member from Spain, Prosoparlam, will be helping to organise the 2nd Conference of Galeusca-History, taking place in Blibao, Spain on 3-4 July 2012.  

The titel of the conference is: Nations within the nation-state: The making of the the cultural and political nations in contemporary Europe.

Themes at the conference will include:

  • 1. 
    Representative Assemblies and Parliaments. (XVI-XXI): Background and biographies of MPs and staff of representative institutions.
  • 2. 
    Intellectual biography and biographyu of personalities with charisma. Stories and historioography.
  • 3. 
    Transboundary realities of Galicia, Euskadi-Euskal Herria and Catalunya-Paisos Catalans.

Contributions ot the conference are due before the 31st of December 2011.

  • List of papers ACCEPTED will be presented January 30, 2012
  • The full text of accepted papers will be sent by e-mail, PDF, before April 14, 2012. Not exceed the 35,000 characters and comply with the rules for submission of original, common in scientific publications. Papers accepted by the scientific committee of Congress, will be delivered to the speakers for their presentation and discussion in Conference.
