On October 31 2012 the eigth History of Parliament lecture, organised by the History of Parliament (United Kingdom) will take place.
The highly praised historian and biographer Amanda Foreman, author of ‘A World on Fire’ will give the lecture, at Parliament. Her title is “How To Make Friends and Corrupt People: The Confederate Infiltration of Parliament during the American Civil War, 1861-1865”.
