Serbia central bank law draws contraversy - Hoofdinhoud

Serbia, which was granted EU candidate status in March, adopted amendments to a law on Saturday that gives its parliament supervisory power over the central bank. The parliament will also now appoint the bank's entire top management. The amendments have been derided by both the IMF and the EU.
