The Foundation was brought into being to conduct research into and promote parliamentary institutions and democracy, to support efforts to improve Greece's standing internationally, to promote the interests of Greeks worldwide, to help cultivate the historical memory of the Greek people in general and younger generations in particular, and to foster cooperation between the nations of the world.
With these aims in mind, the Foundation:
- assembles, sorts, and utilizes relevant data with a view to producing related studies or commissioning such studies from third parties.
- organizes a variety of events and activities, including exhibitions, conferences, and publications.
- supports the building of closer relationships between the Hellenic Parliament and both foreign parliaments and international organizations.
- supports, funds, and helps realize any study, project, or activity carried out by individuals or organizations in Greece or abroad that contribute directly or indirectly to the Foundation's stated aims.
