On the relation of Czechoslovak Communism to Parliamentary Institutions
On 19-20 May, a major international event marking the 100th anniversary
of the 1921 foundation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia will
take place. The conference organized by the Institute of Contemporary
History and the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes can be
watched online and will be interpreted into English.
We are happy to announce that Panel II. on May 19 (Czechoslovak
Communism as a Radical Opponent and Usurper of Forms of Modern
Parliamentary Democracy) will, very unusually, raise the topic of the
relation of Czechoslovak Communism to parliamentary institutions.
