The Czech Journal of Contemporary History has just published a review article of several recent publications dealing with the history of parliamentary cultures. Adéla Gjuričová has argued in it that this perspective, which includes the rhetorical, procedural, social, gender, visual and other characteristics in the analysis of parliamentary institutions, represents a rare opportunity to make political history research highly relevant, sensitive and interdisciplinary.
